EV Experts from SWARCO eVolt to Promote EV Ownership to Countryfile Fans

10th August 2019 9:15 am

SWARCO eVolt’s Anne Buckingham and Alistair Decent are set to take part in the BBC Countryfile Live at Castle Howard, which runs from 15-18 August 2019. They are joining a panel with other experts to share knowledge and advice on electric cars with visitors to the show.

As EV industry experts, Anne (Swarco eVolt’s Head of Sales) and Alistair (Operations Team Leader) will be joining motoring columnist and Go Ultra Low ambassador John Curtis, Ben Wicks of Go Ultra Low, and Ian Goswell of Nissan Energy Services. The panel will be discussing how drivers are successfully moving to electric vehicles, the growing infrastructure and advances in technology that are supporting this growing trend, as well as giving practical advice on how and why to trade in the fossil fuel car for an electric one.

Anne says she is hoping for a lively discussion: “We hope to clear the myth of range anxiety which may still be putting people off, and address concerns over battery life and access to charging. Hopefully visitors will leave the show feeling enthused and inspired to consider when and how they can make the change.”
